The IMSERC team is dedicated to help you with the design of an optimum experiment for your specific research problems. With a combined expertise of more than 100 year in Crystallography, Mass Spectrometry, NMR spectroscopy, and Physical Characterization Methods. IMSERC staff can recommend the appropriate tools and assist you with the execution of your experiments which are tailored to answer the key questions of your research projects. Alternatively, if you do not have enough experience or knowledge about the instrumentation and configuration required for your experiments, you have the option to request from our staff the experiment to be run as a service.

Our research center is equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation (worth more than $4,000,000) that can be used but not limited to a variety of applications and industries, such as Synthetic chemistry, Bioanalytical, Nanomaterials, Medicinal, and Materials Science. IMSERC is well integrated with the Chemistry department of Northwestern University and our center has strong collaborations with the International Institute of Nanotechnology, Cancer Center at Northwestern , and Soft and Hybrid Nanotechnology Experimental Resource (SHyNE). Furthermore, we have a long list of services with private and industrial clients ranging from consulting farms to chemical and pharmaceutical companies.
